Rick Lo
BIOGRAPHY
Rick Lo is an artist, a designer and a lecturer. In recent years, he founded Rickubic, integrating digital artworks with augmented reality (AR) to visualise stories. His works have been invited for collaboration by public and private sector organisations such as The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, Hang Seng Bank, Greenpeace, Ginger Store, The Common Ground, Reel to Reel Institute etc. He provides design programmes, illustration workshops for corporations and universities including Middlesex University London, HKUSPACE, HKDI, PolyU etc.
His printed works are mainly sold to Europe and the U.S. through online platforms, some prints were sold with limited editions and certificates of authenticity, and recently sold NFTs artworks. Some selected artworks were published in magazines such as Tatler Hong Kong and Marie Claire. Besides holding his first solo exhibition in Central, he was invited to an interview for a specific programme on Metro Radio. In addition, Rick Lo is among the “8 Talented and Inspiring Hong Kong Illustrators You Need To Know”, featured in a magazine named Localiiz.
