Anjali B Purkayastha

BIOGRAPHY

Anjali B Purkayastha is a self taught artist of British Indian heritage. 

She works across mediums, including paintings, drawings, ceramics, and digital art. Anjali’s signature style is graphic and pattern-based, seamlessly applied across diverse themes. Intricate repeat patterns serve as her unique visual language, making her work both intuitive and instinctive. 

Her Asian heritage is a core part of her identity, and through her art, she aims to celebrate and honour her roots while exploring universal themes that resonate with audiences worldwide.

Anjali's work has been exhibited in India, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, and the UK, and is held internationally by private collectors.
